Early life[]
Not much is known about Salter's early life. He was born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario and eventually relocated to the west coast of Canada to pursue his studies. He graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Education
Career[]
Salter began his career as a high school teacher, before traveling around the world for 5 years. When he returned to Canada, he started working in the TV industry. He became an actor, a producer, a host, a casting associate, a publicist and a press manager.
Salter's acting credits include Motive, Love You To Death, The Whispers, Supernatural, Arrow, Forced Entry, Descendants and Eureka, among others. He also teamed up with director Kevan Funk, both acting & producing in many of their short films: A Fine Young Man, Weight, This Bleeding Heart, ADSR & Stanley Park.
In 2019, Salter was cast as Owen on A Million Little Things.
