Early life[]
Not much is known about Sood's early life. She was born on November 21st in Nairobi, Kenya to parents of Punjabi descent. She is the sister of actor Manoj Sood and musician Ashwin Sood. The family mmigrated to Canada when she was 7 years old.
Sood graduated high school at age 16, and graduated from University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree by age 20.

Sood's TV credits include Away, Ghost Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, Smallville and Stargate SG-1, among others.
In 2020, Sood was cast as Shayna on A Million Little Things.
Personal life[]
Sood married J. Johnson on August 30, 2008.
