Sunny Chen is one of the actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of a woman.

Biography[]

Early life[]

At six years old, Chen immigrated from Nanjing, China to Canada's west coast. She finished high school in Langley, BC.

Sunny moved to Vancouver at 17 years old and completed her BA in psychology and English literature at the University of British Columbia. During her studies, she starred as Janet Weiss in a university production of The Rocky Horror Show, recorded live YouTube covers of Lana Del Rey's discography, and acted in her friends' indie films, which led to her professional pursuit of film and music.

Career[]

In 2019, Chen won the leading role of Ho Shee in Karin Lee's period drama Ts'ekoo Cha Ke (2021), playing a Chinese-Canadian immigrant in the late 1800s. She also starred as stand-up comic Fifi in The Right One (2021).

Chen's TV credits include Supergirl, Imaginary Mary, Girls vs. The City, Cheer Squad Secrets, and A Sweet Christmas Romance, among others.

In 2020, Chen was cast as a woman on A Million Little Things.
