Before his acting career, Dhillon worked as a professional engineer and instructor in post-secondary education.
Dhillon's TV credits include Arrow, iZombie, Fear Itself, A Beautiful Place to Die: A Martha's Vineyard Mystery , A Louder Silence and Beeba Boys, among others. He also received a nomination for a Leo Award for Best Actor in a Feature Film in 2013 for his work in Pehchaan 3D.
In 2020, Dhillon was cast as Elliot's Father on A Million Little Things.
