Early life[]
Not much is known about Peguero's early life. She was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic. She is the second out of three children, whose parents are two radio newscasters.
Peguero began training in theatre and dance from an early age, both in New York City and her native country. She has a degree in Politics and Economics from Tamkang University in Taipei, Taiwan. After immigrating to Vancouver, Canada, she pursued her acting career training at School Creative, Institute of the Arts.

Peguero's acting credits include The Night Agent, The Good Doctor, Family law, Girl in Room 13 and Wild Goat Surf, among others.
In 2023, Peguero was cast as a nurse on A Million Little Things.
