Career[]

Watkins is known for being a producer, a writer and an actor.

In 2009, Watkins partnered with film and television star Anthony Anderson to create the Mixtape Comedy Show, a monthly comedy and music show in New York City. It was notably supported by Chris Rock, Tom Papa, Amy Schumer and Jerry Seinfeld. Watkins also wrote and produced Def Comedy Jam, BET Honors, TV Land Awards and BET/Centric Networks' Centric Comedy All-Stars, a two-hour comedy special featuring some of the biggest names in urban comedy.[1]

Watkins' acting credits include DJ Nash's Growing Up Fisher, Built to Last, Speed 2: Cruise Control, Deliver Us from Eva, My Girlfriend's Back and I Will Follow, among others.

In 2021, Watkins wrote an episode of ABC's A Million Little Things.

Watkins has a wife and three sons. They currently live in Los Angeles, California.
