"One Year Later" is the seventeenth episode of Season 2 of ABC's A Million Little Things. It was written by David Marshall Grant & Julia Cohen, and directed by Rebecca Asher. It is the thirty-fourth episode of the series overall, and premiered on March 12, 2020.
Summary[]
It's the one-year anniversary of Jon's death and everyone reflects on how much their lives have changed over the last year. But for Eddie, his dream opens up a new mystery.[2]

- The original title for this episode was "Dreams".[3]
- The episode takes place on October 12, 2019, one year after "Pilot".
- Jon's birth year has been retconned for this episode. Per "Pilot" and "Goodbye", he was born in 1967[4] but, in this episode, his grave indicated that he was born in 1972.[5] It is unknown why this change happened.
- Multiple scenes were cut for time from this episode:
- One scene involved Becky (Stephi Chin-Salvo).[2] Nothing is known about it.
- One scene involved Maggie meeting Dr. Noth (played by Brenda M. Crichlow).[2] In this scene, Maggie realizes that Noth thinks she is running from Gary, and that she is trying to find a reason to stay in Boston and not going to Oxford.
- Some parts of this scene was used in the recap segment from "Mothers and Daughters".[6]
- One scene involved Young Eddie (played by Brett Pierce) and Alexandra Stewart.[7] In this scene, Eddie and Alex were together on a boat, in the middle of a lake, and Eddie was drinking a beer.
