Slim is an actress and entrepreneur who runs the Vancouver-based company Nisreen Slim Marketing, which specializes in online workshops.
Slim's first on-screen role was a receptionist in the 2012 Fairly Legal episode "Shattered". Her other TV credits include Arrow, No Tomorrow, Supernatural, The 100, Once Upon a Time and iZombie, among others. In 2019, she appeared in her first feature film, William, directed by Tim Disney, the great-nephew of Walt Disney.
In 2021, Slim was cast as the Reception Nurse on A Million Little Things.

Slim married her husband Andrew Garrett on September 13, 2012.
