Mike Dopud is one of the actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of Officer Maddox.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Not much is known about Dopud's early life. He was born on June 10, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He played professional Canadian football briefly for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Career[]
Dopud is known for playing Detective Smits in White Noise, Agent Turner in Alone in the Dark, Vic Hadfield in the Canadian miniseries Canada Russia '72, and Michael 'The Assassin' in Rollerball. His film credits also include X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool 2, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Predator, among others.
Dopud also took on several minor roles on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, as well as performing many stunts on both shows, before taking on a bigger role as Varro on Stargate Universe. His television credits also include Continuum, Arrow, Power, iZombie, Durham County and Smallville, among others.
Dopud was nominated for a Taurus World Stunt Award in 2005 for his work in Walking Tall.
In 2019, Dopud was cast as Officer Maddox on A Million Little Things.
Personal life[]
Dopudvis married to Canadian actress Angela Schneider. He also has a son named Dane Dopud.
