Michelle Leibel is a writer of ABC's A Million Little Things.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Leibel's early life. She was born on February 25th in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.[1] From 2010 to 2014, she studied narrative cinema at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina.
Career[]
In 2012, as she was trying to land an internship with the Georgia Film Commission before her junior year of college, Leibel ended up being hired as a location production assistant on The Walking Dead. It was her first job in the industry.[1]
In 2015, Leibel worked as a writers' production assistant on Eva Longoria's Telenovela. The next year, she worked as production assistant on Bachelor Live and After Paradise, before being hired as writer's assistant on The Keys of Christmas. Later, Leibel was part of the production staff for Good Girls, and became an assistant to Dean Parisot.
In 2018, Leibel started working on ABC's A Million Little Things, as assistant to series creator DJ Nash.[2] She eventually became a staff writer over the course of the first season.
In 2019, Leibel co-wrote her first episode of A Million Little Things with Nash, making it her first episode of television.[3]
Personal life[]
Following her graduation, Leibel moved to Los Angeles in 2014.[1][3]
