Early life[]
Not much is known about Oberg's early life. He was born on August 22, 1976 in Larchmont, New York, USA. He is a son of Penelope T. Oberg and Timothy S. Oberg of Larchmont, N.Y., and graduated from the University of Michigan.[1]
Career[]
Matt Oberg is primarily known for his recurring roles in television series such as Clive Murray on The Real O'Neals, the voice of Mark Lilly on Ugly Americans, Scooter McGreevy on Hart of Dixie, Buddy Calhoun on Veep or Matthew Chestnut on Fresh Off the Boat.
In 2015, Oberg starred as Mitch Reed in The Comedians. He also played the role of Mark Shepard, a news anchor in the Onion Sports Dome, a television show on Comedy Central.[1]
In 2019, Oberg was cast as a waiter on A Million Little Things.
Personal life[]
In June 2011, Oberg married his wife Elizabeth Ruth Bangs.[1]
