Biography[edit | edit source]
Early life[edit | edit source]
At one point in his life, Lenny became a sergeant in the US army. Eventually, he ended up being stationed overseas in France, where he met a young woman named Charlotte. She was working at a flower shop, so every few days, Lenny went into the shop to buy daisies, just to have an excuse to talk to Charlotte. However, Lenny never got the nerve to ask her out, and after a while, he was shipped back to America. ("Daisy")
After that, Lenny was heartbroken, but he never gave up hope that he would see Charlotte again. Despite his family and friends telling him to move him, Lenny never forgot Charlotte. He started to write her, and she wrote him too. ("Daisy")
Two years later, Charlotte went on vacation with her family in the US, so she and Lenny met up again in Boston. At that meeting, Lenny brought daisies for Charlotte. He told her that all the daisies he ever bought from her were for her, but he never got the nerve to give them to her. One year later, Lenny and Charlotte got married and, a year after that, they had a daughter: Delilah Daisy Farache. ("Daisy")
