Early life[]
Not much is known about Olafson's early life. He grew up on a farm in southern Manitoba, Canada, and is one of five siblings. He then moved to Vancouver to study and pursue a career in acting.

Olafson's credits include Loudermilk, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Supernatural, The Dangers of Online Dating, Smokelore and Garbage Man, among others.
In 2019, Olafson was cast as Bryan on A Million Little Things.
