Floriana Lima is one of the main actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of Darcy Cooper.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Not much is known about Lima's early life. She was born on March 26, 1981 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. She is the daughter of Dennis Lima and Angela Maynard. She is of Italian, Irish, English, Spanish and Portuguese descent.
Lima graduated from Fairfield Senior High School in 1999, and went on to study Communications at Ohio State University.
Career[]
After college, Lima worked as a production assistant at NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio. She then decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Lima was a series regular in the internet comedy Poor Paul (2008-2009) and later became a series regular in Fox's medical drama The Mob Doctor (2012-2013). She had a recurring role in NBC's spy series Allegiance (2015), was a series regular in ABC's thriller The Family (2016), and has a recurring role in Fox's action drama Lethal Weapon (2016). Also in 2016, Lima was cast as Maggie Sawyer as a series regular in season two of The CW's Supergirl. She departed the series after the fifth episode of the third season.
Lima made one-off appearances in episodes of How I Met Your Mother (2008), Ghost Whisperer (2009), Melrose Place (2009), House (2010), In Plain Sight (2010), Franklin & Bash (2011) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2014).
In 2018, Lima played psychiatrist Krista Dumont, a series regular in the second season of Netflix's The Punisher.
In February 2020, Lima was cast as Darcy Cooper on A Million Little Things.[1] In September 2020, it was announced that Lima was promoted to series regular for the third season.[2] At the start of Season 4, she was demoted back to guest star.

In 2016, Lima began a relationship with actor Casey Affleck.
