Maggie and Gary are finishing taking Colin for a walk when Colin decides to relieve himself again. Gary heads upstairs while Maggie takes a phone call from Eric. Eric reveals he saw Gary the night of Maggie's open mic. Maggie runs upstairs to talk with Gary when they both realize Colin is missing. Frantic Gary calls Eddie, who was unable to come help because he is currently watching Charlie for Delilah. Frantic both Maggie and Gary continue to search.

Eddie calls Katherine to see if she can help, and she soon decides to take a day off work in order to watch Charlotte so that Edward can help Gary find his dog. Katherine spends the day with Charlie, and they even go to the park together. While there she confesses to another mom, that Charlie is her husband's love-child with another woman. Later that night when Delilah returns home, she thanks Katherine and gets her Jonathan's old whiskey set. Katherine admits she no longer wants to lie to everyone about who Charlie is. This doesn't seem to sit well with Delilah.

Rome is rather concerned that PJ is becoming friendly with Sophie, both unaware that they might be half-siblings. Rome eventually confesses his concerns to Regina. Meanwhile, Gary and Eddie are driving around town, and almost get stopped by a cop. Eddie gets them out of any trouble before they head to an animal rescue shelter. They find a dog that looks exactly like Colin, except it's not him. On the way out Ed notices a missing dog sigh for a dog that looks exactly like Colin from a year ago. Back at Gary's apartment, PJ is the one that hears barking coming from the garbage chute. He alerts every, and they all make their way to the basement to find Colin. Rome calls Gary to come home before Eddie can confess a secret to him.
