Early life[]
When Eddie was 7 or 8, his father kept reading him Where the Red Fern Grows. It ended up becoming Eddie's favorite book, as he later decided to name his music group after it. ("Grand Canyon")
Following the death of Alexandra Stewart, Eddie's parents did not want to go back to the lake house where their family used to go. ("Change of Plans")
