Corey Deshon is a writer of ABC's A Million Little Things.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Deshon's early life. He was born on October 26, 1988 in New York City, New York, USA. After studying music as a child, he attended the University of Central Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking.
Career[]
In 2015, Deshon wrote, produced and directed the short film To Police. It went on to be a multiple award winner on the international film festival circuit, including Best First-Time Director at the 2017 Madrid Art Film Festival in Spain, and the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the 2015 Orlando Film Festival in Florida.[1]
Deshon's other credits include Shine, Daughter, Trespassers and Hell Is Where the Home Is, among others.
As a photographer, Deshon has showcased in group and solo exhibits in Los Angeles with RAW Artists, the LA Chocolate and Art Show, the Exchange Room Gallery, Art Share LA, and the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art; as well as in Miami for Art Basel Miami Beach. His work has been featured in digital and print publications including Arsenic Magazine, Pixel Magazine, Business Insider, OnFilm.Photo Magazine, VoyageLA Magazine, and the San Francisco Chronicle.[1]
In 2021, Deshon wrote an episode of ABC's A Million Little Things.
