Chris Geere is one of the actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of Jamie Clarke.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Chris Geere is a British actor born in Cambridge in 1981, and brought up in the Winchester area of Hampshire, where his family still lives.
Geere was initially interested in pursuing a career as an artist until a drama teacher encouraged him to play in his school's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. He later gained a place at the Guildford School of Acting, winning out over nearly three thousand other applicants.
Career[]
Geere portrayed the character of Music and Drama teacher Matt Wilding in the BBC One school-based drama series Waterloo Road. In January 2009, just as the fourth series of Waterloo Road began airing, Geere said that he would not be returning for the fifth series.
Geere then starred on the FXX hit comedy series You're the Worst, which ran for five seasons from 2014 to 2019. His other TV credits also include Modern Family, The Spa, This Way Up and The First Team.
In 2019, Geere took on the role of Roger Clifford in the urban fantasy film Pokémon Detective Pikachu, alongside Justice Smith and Ryan Reynolds.
In 2020, Geere was cast as Jamie Clarke on A Million Little Things.[1]
Personal life[]
Geere married Jennifer Sawdon, a singer-songwriter and pianist, in 2010. Their son, Freddie, was born in 2012.
