Chance Hurstfield is one of the main actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of Daniel Dixon.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Hurstfield was born on October 11, 2006 in Vancouver, Canada.[1][2] He is the son of Aby Cervantes and Adam Hurstfield, a music producer who goes by the name "Adam H.".[3]

His father has been in a long term relationship with Filipino-Canadian pop singer, Elise Estrada, since 2009. The couple announced their engagement on December 26, 2019.[4]

Estrada announced that she was pregnant with the couple's first child in 2020.[5] Estrada gave birth to Hurstfield's half-sister, Halo, on March 22, 2021.[6]

Hurstfield has two younger half-sisters, Faith and Luna, via his mother, Aby Cervantes.[7]

Career[]

Hurstfield started his acting career when he was 4 years in a TV film, Innocent.[3][8] After that, he appeared in multiple TV projects like Jon Rosenbaum's comedy film Mark & Russell's Wild Ride, or Julius R. Nasso's thriller film Darc.[3] He also guest starred on Netflix's Project M².[3]

In 2016, Hurstfield started voicing the character of Carlos on Sprout TV's Nina's World.[9] From 2017 to 2018, he played the recurring role of Marcus Moon on SyFy's Ghost Wars.[3] He appeared in six episodes of the series. In 2017, he also booked a role on Nickelodeon's animated series Paw Patrol, and on Netflix's Eggplant Emoji.[3]

In 2018, Hurstfield was cast as Daniel Dixon on A Million Little Things.[10] After recurring in the first season, he was promoted to series regular for Season 2 onwards.[11]

In 2019, Hurstfield played the role of Atticus in the film called Good Boys before doing the voice of Buddy Tyrannosaurus for the fifth and final season of PBS Kids' animated show Dinosaur Train. That year, he also started voicing Sir Cedric's childhood self in Hulu's The Bravest Knights and Corazon on Disney Channel's Pup Academy. In 2020, he booked the role of Billy Wenan in Mel Gibson's Fatman.
