Bobbi Charlton is one of the actors of A Million Little Things, portraying the role of Jackie.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Not much is known about Charlton's early life. She born in Calgary, but moved to Edmonton before junior high. She struggled with gender dysphoria for years, before deciding to transition in her early fifties.[1]

Career[edit | edit source]

In 2019, Charlton developed her autobiographical documentary Finding Bobbi, with her cousin director Scot Morison. It documented Charlton's transition story, including how her gender dysphoria caused her depression, how she was a victim of violence and harassment, and then how she returned to the stage after a 23-year absence. It features interviews from some of Charlton's siblings and fellow actors.[1]

Charlton's other TV credits include The Magicians, Dead of Summer, Discovery Street: The Web Series, Damnation, The Switch and Family Law, among others.

In 2021, Charlton was cast as Jackie on A Million Little Things.
